Community Paediatricians run clinics at the Gem Centre for children aged 0–5 years where there are concerns about their development.
About
They include consultants, speciality doctors and trainee paediatric doctors working in community child health who have broad skills covering paediatrics and child health with specialist skills in the care of vulnerable families, children with long-term conditions and child public health.
Community Paediatricians see children with complex needs outside acute hospitals, in schools, in outreach clinics in locations closer to home.
