At our Joint Assessment Clinics, we believe that children with special educational needs or complex health needs deserve coordinated, high-quality support that puts the child and family at the centre of everything we do. To promote inclusion and wherever possible enable families to live ordinary lives.
Why It Matters
Early identification of needs leads to early support—and that can make a big difference. By stepping in early, we can help families feel more confident in supporting their child, and improve outcomes for the whole family.
How It Works
Support isn’t just a one-time event—it’s a journey. We aim to provide a connected series of steps that respond to your family’s needs, offering both practical help and clear information along the way.
Working Together
Sometimes, a child may not yet be known to services, but their needs raise concerns. In these cases, our multi-agency panel may recommend a joint clinic appointment. This helps bring professionals together in one place, reducing the number of separate appointments and making sure families only need to tell their story once.
