The Special Educational Needs Statutory Assessment and Review Team (SENSTART Team) monitor and review Education Health and Care Needs Assessment (EHC Needs Assessment), Education, Health and Care Plan (EHC Plan) process and the provision and outcomes set out in the EHC Plan.
SENSTART will be operating at a reduced capacity on Tuesday 23 and Tuesday 30 September, as we carry out essential work to our systems.

SENSTART Team
- Undertake the Education Health and Care Needs Assessment (EHC Needs Assessment) of children and young people between the ages of birth to 25 years of age who have special education, health and care needs.
- Place children and young people (from birth and up to 25 years) with Education, Health and Care Plans in educational provision
- Review and monitor provision and outcomes set out in a Education, Health and Care Plan.
